Desktop View
A four page website was the final design assignment for the internship class work for Hatcher Garden. For this project I chose to try out responsive web design. In the desktop browser view, the sidebars float to the right or left depending on the page. The navigation links are horizontal across the top and inline with the logo. The navigation bar is fixed at the top when scrolling.
Tablet View
This view for tablets, or browsers sized between 750 pixels and 1280 pixels wide, has a single column layout. The sidebar positions itself under the main content. The navigation bar with the logo is fixed at the top and the navigation links are horizontally centered across the top under the logo.
Mobile View
For the mobile phone view, and browsers sized below 750 pixels wide, the same single column layout is used as with the tablet view. The navigation links stack vertically and the navigation bar is not fixed to allow more content to be seen on screen.
I used CSS to make this site responsive.
